International Women's Day 2021

08 March 2021

This year the carefully selected International Women’s Day theme is focused on #challenging stereotypes, inequality and gender bias. It astonishes that we’re still only seeing around 1 in 3 entrepreneurs in the UK identifying as female, and men are nearly twice as likely as women to start a business. Let us do our part and celebrate our women. Here is a handful of our local female-led businesses launched within the last year, despite the statistics being stacked against them as females with the added obstacles the COVID pandemic has presented #girlboss #successfulwomen #choosetochallenge2021
